CATALYZE Chicago

Precursor to Catalyze

Precursor to Catalyze

in 2013, as DesignHouse was launching their ideas into the Chicago community, one of the first collaboration meetingswas with a group called 1872.  The briefcase Bill brought to the meeting was a creative precursor to the vibrant collaboration space that the Catalyze team continues to build.

The Catalyze group of leaders and innovators is a strong component of the Chicago manufacturing renaissance, creating a hub for innovation and a home for entrepreners.

Colleagues

A valued colleague, co-founder, and talented product designer, Pam Daniels was part of DesignHouse from late 2013 until early 2015. Pam's dedication to design and the mission of DesignHouse was instrumental in the early success and traction for the organization.  She contributed her talents and incredible energy in working with the students to get the REVEAL frame from the Jam post-it notes into production and onto Kickstarter.  In 2015 she left the board of DesignHouse to teach at Northwestern and to continue designing products.
